Missouri Department Behavioral Health Alcohol Substance Use
The Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) manages programs and services for individuals who need help with their mental illnesses and/or substance use. Services available are prevention, education, evaluation, intervention, treatment, and rehabilitation. Here individuals and families seeking services can find the help they need. Most prevention and treatment services are provided by programs in the community through organizations which are contracted by the DBH to do so. These programs must meet federal and state requirements in order to provide mental illness and substance use treatment services.

Missouri Behavioral Health Council
Our statewide network is leading the way to accessible behavioral health care in Missouri. Our 33 member agencies utilize the continuum of care model, which offers the benefits of receiving individualized types and levels of treatment while helping people progress through a quality, cost-effective, and least restrictive system of care.

Our efforts battle stigma and discrimination, promote care and treatment, and foster inclusion in the community and the workforce.
