One of the many benefits of the Acadia Healthcare system is that our various treatment centers incorporate a wide range of therapeutic techniques into several types of care. Because of this, patients who choose to seek treatment at one of our facilities can expect to receive the kind of care that is best matched to their individual needs. These factors often determine how much time a patient spends in treatment at any given location. For example, if a patient requires intensive therapy, they might spend more time in treatment at an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) than at a Rehabilitation Center. However, if a patient requires only outpatient rehabilitation services, they might spend more hours in treatment at a Rehabilitation Center than at an ICU. In addition, depending upon the nature of the injury, a patient may require immediate medical attention, or they may require a period of recovery before returning home. At Acadia, we offer both acute and chronic care, so no matter what your situation, we can help you find the right setting for your recovery.
