Rutland Mental Health Services located in Rutland County Vermont is dedicated to providing clients with the high-quality care they require. Child and Family, Adult Outpatient, Substance Abuse, Residential, and Recreational Therapeutic Services are all available through our behavioral health section. Our dedicated team of caring professionals has been trained to meet professional development criteria set forth by the federal government, states, and other organizations.

Alcohol and other drug addictions can affect people of all ages and walks of life. No one is immune, whether you’re battling to control your drinking or you’re concerned about a loved one. For many people who struggle with substance abuse, the most difficult part is acknowledging they have a problem and getting assistance.

Treatment for substance abuse problems is possible. Evergreen Substance Use and Recovery Services’ clinical staff can assist you in determining the best course of action for treatment and recovery. We attempt to give treatment in a polite, dignified manner that allows the individual to develop the skills needed to continue their rehabilitation.

Substance Use Disorders services are provided by an interdisciplinary team at Evergreen Recovery Center utilizing evidence-based practices to help adults recover from substance use disorders. Evergreen offers a wide array of programming and services, including: assessment, intensive outpatient, outpatient groups and individual therapy, case management, state and federal Drug Court, Rocking Horse, federal urine collection, Reach-Up collaboration, Healthy Women’s Program, Impaired Driver Rehabilitation Program, and Elder Services.

A bio-psychosocial assessment is completed on all individuals seeking treatment.  The assessment includes a comprehensive clinical diagnosis and non-psychiatric assessment, development of an individual treatment plan, identification of mutually agreed upon treatment goals and objectives, and referral to the most appropriate program and/or provider using the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) placement criteria as a guideline.
