New England’s Phoenix House RISE programs are transitional housing facilities for adult men and women who are in the early stages of rehabilitation. RISE operates 58 beds at three locations in Vermont thanks to contracts with the Vermont Department of Health’s Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (ADAP) and the Department of Corrections.

RISE offers an organized, supportive atmosphere in which clients can practice and reinforce new behaviors and attitudes that will lead to long-term recovery. Stays range from three to 24 months. RISE collaborates with a variety of community agencies and organizations to help our customers achieve the greatest potential results.

Phoenix House Health and Recovery Solutions is a comprehensive behavioral health services program that aims to assist people manage their substance abuse and mental health problems. Individuals battling with substance use disorders and related mental health difficulties receive comprehensive care from our board-certified doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and licensed clinicians.

This new project complements our Vermont continuum of care, which includes outpatient and intensive outpatient services, as well as transitional housing programs at five locations around the state. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Battleboro, VT is for people who require more care than conventional outpatient but not as much as residential therapy. The Brattleboro Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Brattleboro, Vermont, offers individualized medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals of all genders aged 18 and above. For decades, MAT has been examined in methadone clinics and other recognized treatment facilities as an evidence-based, research-supported method.
