Steward St Elizabeths/SECAP/ATS is a drug and alcohol detox center in Brighton, Massachusetts that offers substance abuse treatment. Founded in 1976, St. Elizabeth’s Comprehensive Addiction Program (SECAP) is Boston’s oldest hospital-based program and Massachusetts’ only Level 4 certified, Medically Monitored inpatient detoxification program. We provide care to around 1,000 people each year.

We offer treatment for a wide range of addictions. Our treatment procedures for opioid, alcohol, and benzodiazepine addiction are evidence-based, symptom-triggered, and tailored to meet the needs of each client. Using buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone), chlordiazepoxide (Librium), and oxazepam, our team has effectively detoxed patients from opiates, alcohol, and benzodiazepines (Serax).
