Steppingstone Inc Womens Program

Steppingstone is a New Bedford, Massachusetts-based company. Bristol County is a transitional and sober living environment for women who are in need of drug and alcohol treatment.

The RRS Program for Women and Women with Infants in New Bedford provides 21 beds for women and women with infants who have substance use disorders. The Program is housed in a three-story facility that provides a welcoming, sober, and homelike atmosphere. Residents work on developing recovery skills and support structures for three to twelve months while in the program. Prior to discharge, residents are aided with gaining job, entitlements, parenting skills, living and coping skills, and locating appropriate housing. Residents with these skills, resources, and supports are better able to transition into the community and maintain long-term sobriety and a higher quality of life.
