The Providence Center Women’s Road to Recovery is a residential substance use treatment program located at 15 Baker Pines Road in Wyoming, Rhode Island. The program is designed specifically for adult women and addresses addiction together with co-occurring mental health concerns, trauma, relationships, parenting, health, employment, education, and housing. Women’s Road to Recovery is part of The Providence Center and the Care New England health system.
Residential Treatment for Women
Residents live in a structured recovery environment while working with clinicians to create individualized treatment and discharge plans. Women’s Road to Recovery provides access to primary care, peer support, recovery coaching, basic living-skills development, housing and homelessness assistance, vocational services, and legal support. These resources help residents prepare for the practical demands of returning to the community.
Discharge planning begins during residential treatment. Continuing care may include outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient treatment, psychiatric services, medication management, primary care, peer recovery programs, sober housing, employment support, and community recovery meetings.
