The North Country Regional Prevention Network is part of the North Country Public Health Network, and it collaborates with the state’s other 12 prevention networks and partners to share solutions for addressing the effects of alcohol and drug addiction at the state level.

Locally, the Network works with schools to adopt proven techniques to enhance school climates and to train adolescents to lead and mentor younger students in understanding the effects of substance abuse.The North Country Prevention Network collaborates with a variety of local organizations to achieve its primary goal of preventing youth substance misuse and reducing the consequences of alcoholism and drug addiction. The Network takes a three-pronged approach to accomplishing this mission.
