Guests in Residential Inpatient located in Grafton County, NH, attend group treatment, educational workshops, recreational activities, guided meditation and yoga, 12-Step work, individual counseling, and fitness programming on a daily basis. They attend a full schedule of groups and activities Monday through Saturday, just as they did in Residential, but the focus of the programming turns to how to maintain sober and progress through the 12 Steps.

Clients begin individual therapy with a qualified and highly experienced therapist while in residential inpatient treatment, and they also attend a full daily schedule of group therapy sessions and recovery-related group courses. They also begin working the Alcoholics Anonymous 12 Steps with a mentor, whom we refer to as their 12 -Step Contact. A 12-Step Contact is essentially a professional sponsor – a guy or woman who is knowledgeable about the 12-Step recovery technique and has helped many others through it.

Our newest location, the Whole Village Family Resource Center in Plymouth, offers Intensive Outpatient Treatment. The services are provided in a community setting, which provides a warm and inviting environment for this more intensive treatment. While each person’s treatment plan is unique, participants in our IOP program will typically attend sessions three times per week. These meetings are usually 3 hours long and contain a variety of components such as group therapy, recovery support services, education, and auxiliary education to help participants re-establish community connections.
