Addictions can have devastating consequences for not only the addict, but also for those closest to them, such as friends and family.
We at the Counseling Center understand and can help in this age of escalating opiates and other forms of substance abuse. Outpatient treatment for alcohol and substance abuse issues is available at the Counseling Center.

The major purpose of this program is to assist clients in achieving physical and psychological abstinence from addiction, as well as making the necessary motivational, lifestyle, and social changes to sustain recovery and avoid relapse. Individual treatment to help initiate abstinence is provided by both psychologists with specific training in alcohol and substance addiction treatment and our licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor, as well as group therapy with an emphasis on relapse prevention after a brief period of recovery.

Our alcohol outpatient treatment facility is located in Rockingham County New Hampshire. We work with individuals and children of all ages who have substance addiction disorders or are dual-diagnosed on a daily basis. To us, it’s more than a job; it’s a purpose to assist as many people as possible recover from this life-threatening condition. Addiction is a sickness that not only ruins individuals, but also families. It takes away your family’s trust, respect, and your own respect for yourself, your friends, homes, work, children, relationships, and ambitions.

Mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially, you suffer. It makes you feel confused, unhappy, sorry, guilty, and alone. Your internal organs and brain are destroyed when you use alcohol and/or drugs.
