MYR is a 12-bed acute detoxification and stabilization program for young people aged 13 to 18. Clients are medically monitored 24 hours a day at MYR, and a multidisciplinary treatment team composed of psychiatrists, master’s level clinicians, registered nurses, case managers, and counselors provides a full examination and diagnosis, therapy, and aftercare planning.

The MYR program is a strengths-based, family-centered strategy that will introduce and involve adolescent and family members in the recovery process. MYR will design extensive ongoing treatment plans that will provide continued support and therapy for the adolescent and family once they return to their community, using its existing ties to community resources for adolescents across the state. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, has granted the program a license.
