Partial hospitalization is a systematic mental health treatment program that lasts at least two weeks and lasts several hours per day, five days per week. During the day, clients with co-occurring disorders attend planned therapy sessions and return home at night. After a lunch break, the program runs parallel with our IOP and features unique supplementary content.

This program is a step down from psychiatric hospital care that lasts 24 hours a day (inpatient treatment). It can also be used to avoid the requirement for a hospital admission. Individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP):

At our Waltham, MA location, Square Medical Group provides residential services. The “River House” program is a 90-day intensive treatment program for those who have mental health and substance abuse issues. The program is housed in a renovated Victorian property on the Charles River, just a short walk from downtown Waltham.

This is a 16-bed, 90-day residential co-occurring enhanced (COE) program designed to assist male adults who want to live independently and in recovery. River House offers a caring therapeutic setting as well as a wide range of mental and professional services. Residents gain more self-responsibility and self-efficacy as a result of these programs, which create a therapeutic environment.
