Citizens Inn Transition, founded in 1990, provides full case management in a transitional sober housing environment to families in early recovery. Our Citizens Inn Transition facility, an attractive 4-story, ADA accessible brick structure in downtown Peabody, houses the program. It is located in a residential neighborhood that is both convenient and accessible. This facility is shared by eight sober living families and six emergency shelter families, who all adhere to the same set of standards and expectations and strive to create a secure, supportive, sober, accepting, inviting, and recovery-oriented environment.
