North Adams, Massachusetts is home to an opioid addiction treatment center. Medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction that is respectful, sensitive, and successful. Our integrated approach to opioid addiction treatment is intended to assist our patients in dealing with life’s daily challenges so that they can concentrate on their recovery. For a successful and long-term recovery, case management, counseling, and recovery aid services are paired with FDA-approved medication-assisted treatment.

Spectrum inaugurated its North Adams Outpatient Treatment Center in 2015 to help people in Berkshire County, Southern Vermont, and Eastern New York State get better treatment. Many of these people had previously gone without therapy or had to travel for hours each day to the nearest treatment center, which was hundreds of miles away.

Anxiety and Substance Use Disorder Group: The goal of this group is to assist clients in developing more adaptive methods to cope with anxiety without the use of alcohol or drugs. The group’s focus is based on the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) concepts (CBT).
