Individual and group counseling, health education, evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and mindfulness, introduction to 12 step and other self-help programs, and planning for longer-term support services are all used in the programs to make the treatment experience enriching and educational.

For drug and alcohol addiction and substance use disorder, Gosnold provides a comprehensive, end-to-end continuum of therapy. Our medical team has experience treating individuals with a wide range of needs. Because not every patient who comes to Gosnold is classified as a “addict” in professional terminology, we provide a variety of treatment methods.

Medication management, group therapy, and case management services are still available to patients. IOP permits patients to resume normal activities such as job, school, and hobbies. Participation in IOP might last anywhere from one to three weeks, depending on the individual’s treatment goals.
