We realize how difficult it is to live with a drug or alcohol addiction at McLean, but we also know that recovery is attainable. It’s something we see on a daily basis. To address the needs of each McLean patient, addiction treatment is delivered in a number of settings, ranging from short-term detox to insurance-based and self-pay round-the-clock residential care. Both insurance-based and self-pay therapy alternatives are available.

This insurance-based residential program focuses on stabilizing adolescents in acute crisis for a period of 10 to 14 days. Our unlocked coeducational program, located at McLean SouthEast in Middleborough, Massachusetts, maximizes each individual’s responsibility and self-control capacity. Patients must be willing to participate in treatment because ART is a voluntary program.
