Massachusetts General Hospital is an alcohol detox facility in Boston, Massachusetts, in Suffolk County. The Addiction Treatment Management Service (ARMS) is a dual illness outpatient clinic with a multidisciplinary team of clinical psychiatrists, psychologists, and masters-level social workers who are trained to work with kids and their parents to develop a customized recovery plan.

ARMS provides a unique level of expertise as part of Massachusetts General Hospital, with access to the Center for Addiction Medicine’s medical, clinical, and addiction research resources. We assess each patient’s medical history and present symptoms in order to develop the most effective treatment plan. We recognize the link between substance abuse and mental health problems.
