Outpatient Alcohol Treatment Services
If you are transitioning out of residential treatment, or perhaps new to substance abuse treatment, our outpatient services might be the right fit for you.
Lund offers family-centered and trauma-informed outpatient treatment services to clients struggling with substance use and/or mental health challenges. Issues addressed include, but are not limited to:
- opiate or other drug addiction
- alcohol
- dependence
- anxiety
- depression
- and PTSD
We offer services to adolescents and adults, and work with both men and women, who are either pregnant or actively parenting.
Residential Program
When you’re a mom, your child’s safety and happiness are your top priorities.
However, when you are a mom struggling with addiction or mental health issues, it can be hard to balance your treatment needs with your responsibilities as a parent.
Lund can help you find this balance at our residential treatment facility, where pregnant or parenting moms can live with their young children while they participate in treatment for substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Our program is the only place in Vermont where women and their children can live together during treatment.
One of the biggest obstacles that keep women from seeking treatment is fear — fear that they will not be able to take care of their children while in treatment, fear that their children will be taken away from them, fear of reprisal from their spouses or boyfriends, and fear of punishment by authorities.
At Lund, we are focused on providing hope and easing these fears. Lund’s residential treatment program makes it easier for women to get the treatment they need while continuing to parent their children. We know that drug-dependent women are often isolated, and are the primary — or only — care providers to their children, so we focus on providing critical support and understanding during this difficult time.
We believe that every woman, regardless of age, can overcome dependence on drugs or alcohol and can learn to manage complex mental health needs, if she has access to the right care and treatment, as well as the support of family, friends and community.
