Addictions can have devastating consequences for not only the addict, but also for those closest to them, such as friends and family.
We at the Counseling Center understand and can help in this age of escalating opiates and other forms of substance abuse. Outpatient treatment for alcohol and substance abuse issues is available at the Counseling Center.

The major purpose of this program is to assist clients in achieving physical and psychological abstinence from addiction, as well as making the necessary motivational, lifestyle, and social changes to sustain recovery and avoid relapse. Individual treatment to help initiate abstinence is provided by both psychologists with specific training in alcohol and substance addiction treatment and our licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor, as well as group therapy with an emphasis on relapse prevention after a brief period of recovery.
