Institute for Health and Recovery Middlesex County

Institute for Health and Recovery Inc is a Middlesex County, Massachusetts-based alcohol and substance misuse treatment facility. IHR has been a national leader in designing and implementing innovative health care, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery approaches for women and families since its founding in 1990.

IHR has actively worked to improve the timeliness and comprehensiveness of treatment delivery systems, and has been recognized as an excellent program by the United States Center for Substance Abuse Prevention as well as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. IHR’s services are founded on a thorough understanding of the effects of trauma.
