The Howard Center Pine Street alcohol detox is located in Chittenden County, VT. Our programs assist people of all ages who want to stop using drugs or alcohol. Our caring and knowledgeable staff will be there for you throughout your rehabilitation. Individuals ages 18 and older who are experiencing problematic alcohol or other drug usage can participate in the Bridge Program, which provides short-term stabilization and detoxification in a non-medical setting.

The Bridge Program is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Depending on the individual’s needs, we provide associated services by coordinating with the University of Vermont Medical Center Emergency Department and making recommendations to other Howard Center services. Bridge provides medical supervision, service coordination for injection drug users, clinical assessments, and referrals to those who require more intense treatment.
Continuing care plans are prepared with each client, and free, daily community support groups provide continued help following discharge.
