Gosnold Counseling Center Emerson House

The Gosnold Treatment Center in Falmouth, Massachusetts, is a 50-bed medical stabilization and detoxification facility where patients get medically supervised withdrawal treatment. To minimize discomfort and avoid complications, Gosnold treats withdrawal with a number of drugs. Our clinical staff includes physicians, nurses, counselors, case managers, and recovery aides, all of whom are qualified and experienced in addiction therapy.

Patients undertake a psychosocial assessment during detox to determine treatment needs. Patients gain a greater understanding of the nature and severity of their addiction through individual and group counseling, addiction education, and an introduction to twelve-step programs.
