Gándara’s Cornerstone Recovery Program for Young Women is a residential treatment and recovery program for young adult and transitional-age women, as well as individuals who identify as women (ages 18-25). To fully understand youth and family needs, the program uses a wraparound framework treatment model that is family/youth driven, sensitive to culture and linguistic norms, and builds on participants’ strengths and resources to support recovery and well-being.

The participant, with the assistance of professionals and family/community supports, determines the treatment content. The length of stay is determined by the needs of the individual. Participants live in a controlled setting that fosters a recovery and well-being culture, self-regulation skills, and activities that build self-esteem, leadership abilities, and social connections with family, friends, and community resources.
