Members with psychiatric or substance use disorder diagnoses, and/or Members whose psychiatric or substance use disorder diagnoses interfere with their ability to access essential medical services, can benefit from the Community Support Program (CSP), which provides a range of services delivered by community-based, mobile paraprofessional staff supported by a clinical supervisor.

These programs provide the required support services to ensure that Members have access to and use behavioral health treatments.
CSPs do not provide clinical treatment services; instead, they provide outreach and support to enable Members to get clinical therapy and other resources.
The CSP service plan aids the Member in achieving his or her clinical treatment goals in outpatient services and/or other levels of care, as well as removing barriers.
