Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are offered by many employers in an effort to support the wellbeing of employees and the workplace. EAPs typically provide short-term counseling, referrals and alcohol treatment resources, as well as training and organizational development services.

211 Colorado Partnered with Colorado Department of Human Services
211 Colorado is partnering with the Colorado Department of Human Services’ Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) to bring alcohol and other substance abuse benefits, behavioral health benefits access and resource navigation across the state. Coloradans who have lost employment can dial 211 to determine behavioral health benefits and find mental health and/or substance use treatment in their community, as well as connect to other social services, such as food, housing and financial assistance.

Coalition of Colorado Campus Alcohol and Drug Educators
The Coalition of Colorado Campus Alcohol and Drug Educators (CADE) has supported college and university prevention efforts across the state. Each year, CADE Project Staff select six institutions of higher education from across the state to implement a project focusing on educational dissemination/ programming, environmental management/ policy change, or screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment.
