State of Alabama Alcohol Resources
Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH)
The Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) is responsible for the regulation of Alabama’s public substance abuse services delivery system. ADMH does not operate any alcohol substance use disorder programs; however, we contract with community based entities throughout Alabama to offer outpatient and residential services. All state funded providers offer services on a sliding fee scale which is based on income, resulting in low or no cost services to persons with low income.
The Alabama Alcohol & Drug Abuse Association
The Alabama Alcohol & Drug Abuse Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to insure quality services for those we serve, the client. AADAA certifies Alcohol & Drug Counselors, Prevention Specialists, Criminal Justice Professionals and Clinical Supervisors. We are dedicated to insuring quality services through professional certification, education and advocacy both on a state and national level.
