In the last decade, the number of Americans seeking treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction has increased dramatically. Step 1: Detox

Before any other recovery work can begin, new clients must first go through a detox period to get any recently consumed drugs and/or alcohol out of their system. During this time, Yellowstone Recovery staff monitor clients to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and ensure safety. The length of this detox period varies, depending on the strength of the addiction, and it can take up to 10 days to complete.

Step 2: Primary Residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment

After detox, clients can begin working on deeper non-physical issues with our staff psychiatrist and registered CCAPP counselors. Using a 12-step format, we help clients understand the mental, emotional, and behavioral aspects of their addiction and practice valuable new coping skills.

Step 3: Extended Residential Care

Unlike other rehab facilities that discharge patients immediately upon completing primary residential treatment, Yellowstone Recovery provides extended support throughout the transition back into society.

Step 4: Sober Living Assistance

At the end of 90 days in our residential drug treatment program, clients have the opportunity to move into a sober living facility. While there, clients have access to ongoing support through our outpatient aftercare services.
