HCRS intensive outpatient treatment facility in Windham County Vermont provides a broad continuum of services for those who are having problems in their life as a result of their substance use or addictive behaviors. For adults, youth, and families, the Substance Abuse Program provides education, assessment, outpatient, intensive outpatient treatment, and referral services. The program’s objectives are to assist individuals in making healthy choices that support reduced risk, enhanced health, and recovery from alcohol and other substances when necessary to achieve wellness.

Treatment for co-occurring disorders and collaboration
Substance abuse is best treated when family or other supportive people are involved, according to experience and research, and services must be tailored to a person’s readiness to change. At HCRS, we believe that true recovery requires a desire to examine how you think, make decisions, and interact in relationships, not merely ceasing your alcohol or substance usage.
