Institute for Health and Recovery Inc is a Hampden County, Massachusetts-based alcohol and substance misuse treatment facility. We provide trauma-informed family-focused counseling to high-risk individuals and their families at home and in the community, including homeless families (in DHCD shelters and other settings), families involved in the child welfare system (through multiple contracts with the Department of Children and Families), pregnant and parenting women, and youth at risk (through In Home Treatment and a contract with Department of Youth Services).

The Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS), the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), and insurers such as MassHealth and Medicare all contribute to our services.
