SMOC Behavioral Healthcare is a Middlesex County, Massachusetts-based alcohol and substance abuse treatment center. Adults who are suffering from the effects of addiction can receive group and individual counseling through the Addiction Services component.
Addiction to alcohol and/or drugs is the most common, but it can also be to other behaviors such as eating, gambling, or sex. The goal of addiction services is to help people understand the role of addiction in their lives, identify the triggers that lead to addiction, and build coping skills that will help them maintain abstinence and, in turn, enhance their quality of life.
