McLean Hospital is a Middlesex County, Massachusetts-based alcohol and substance abuse treatment facility. The Adolescent Acute Residential Treatment (ART) Program offers teens and young adults with emotional and behavioral issues up to the age of 19 comprehensive, short-term, and highly targeted psychiatric care.

This insurance-based residential program focuses on stabilizing adolescents in acute crisis for a period of 10 to 14 days. Our unlocked coeducational program, located at McLean SouthEast in Middleborough, Massachusetts, maximizes each individual’s responsibility and self-control capacity. Patients must be willing to participate in treatment because ART is a voluntary program.
