At Northeast Kingdom Human Services, we are here to help you with your substance use issues.  We look at the whole person during treatment.  We evaluate the causes of why an individual might be choosing to use.  We offer healing of the underlying pain as part of our treatment approach.

Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)

The challenges of overcoming and addiction are complex.  The intertwining of mental health diagnosis, children and family issues, legal concerns, DUI’s, relationship damage, financial difficulties, struggles with employment/career and sometimes just meeting basic needs such as housing and food, can be overwhelming. It takes time to resolve as there is no instant fix, there is no magic.  The underlying behaviors must change for things to improve.

A  Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) is specifically trained to address your addiction and co-occurring disorders. We have the experience and insight to handle the complexities and to follow through until you have the tools needed to remain in recovery.
